We’re Driving Digital Mobility
In 1968, the industrial engineer from Salzburg, Julius Kiss, founded IVM (Ingenieursdienstleistungen für Verfahrenstechnik und Maschinenbau) in Munich with just one employee and the company’s first orders from renowned OEMs.
With expertise and a knack for the industry, the company quickly grew to become one of the leading development partners to the mobility industry, opening various offices both at home and abroad. Since 2003, the group has been managed successfully by his children, Dr Elke Kiss and Arpad Kiss, under the umbrella of the MVI Group. With over 50 years of company history, the MVI Group is one of the few mid tier companies to remain family-owned and one in which the focus is always on people – a belief that ultimately is the most important factor in the company’s success. Specialising in automotive development, production & logistics, testing & validation and IT solutions, we develop customised, sustainable solutions for our customers throughout the entire product development process. 1968
Founding of IVM
Julius Kiss founds IVM (Ingenieurdienstleistung für Verfahrenstechnik und Maschinenbau) in Munich
2000
Der C12
IVM Automotive shows off its complete vehicle expertise: in collaboration with Callaway Cars, the company’s own super sports car – the C12 Coupé – was developed on the basis of the Corvette.
2003
IVM becomes MVI
The companies under the IVM umbrella are now grouped together under the MVI Group, led by Dr Elke Kiss and Arpad Kiss.
2010
MVI Motorsport
Participation in the Le Mans 24-hour race, the Porsche Carrera Cup, as well as the German Rallye Championship.
2018
50 years of MVI
With the new slogan, “We’re Driving Digital Mobility”, MVI Group celebrates its 50th anniversary.
MVI AUTOMOTIVE has specialised in test driving, measuring technology and homologation. We also take care of all coordination and logistics for prototypes in fleet management.
For many years, MVI PROPLANT has been accompanying its customers on production and logistics projects ranging from factory and production planning and the development of operating equipment to highly efficient product information systems.
MVI SOLVE-IT offers innovative, comprehensive IT solutions for the fields of connectivity, e-mobility, process digitalisation and IT security & quality assurance. We use agile methods (BizDevOps) to guarantee flexibility and quality.
