Homologation validates that a vehicle complies with the legal requirements and can be approved in the respective country. For decades, MVI Group has been supporting large vehicle manufacturers, tier X industry and small series manufacturers to license vehicles in their target markets. We advise start-up companies that work on alternative drive or new mobility concepts, helping them to execute all necessary steps to archive homologation.
Homologation or certification is the final step in vehicle development, but the process starts very early. “For a successful accomplishment, our experts support vehicle manufacturers as early as the concept phase in order to point out necessary adaptations in time,” explains Marius Krause, Managing Director of MVI Group AUTOMOTIVE.
To be registered a vehicle must meet various regulations and laws, but also pass a series of practical tests and measurement runs, which we also carry out for you. “In order for the authority to issue a permit, various type tests are required, supervised by an approved technical service. Here we support you with our experience in worldwide transports, workshop services (e.g. modifications) and in organizing the tests.”
